For specialized jobs—those that are hard to reach, remote, or in rugged terrain—Raining Wood brings powerful, high‐reach equipment. These tools allow us to tackle tree work that would otherwise be impossible, unsafe, or cost prohibitive.

Our Specialized Equipment

96-Foot GrappleSaw (Mobile / Off-Road)

This is a beast of a machine. The GrappleSaw extends reach up to 96 feet, allowing us to remove unsafe tree limbs or whole trees that are far from the road or in rough terrain. Since it is mobile and off-road capable, access is much more flexible. No need for bulldozing roads—this machine can often drive to the job site across uneven ground, saving time, reducing damage, and lowering cost.

70-Foot Bucket Truck

For overhead work near powerlines, or for tree trimming and removal in tight residential settings, our 70-foot aerial bucket trucks provide safe, stable platforms. Our operators work from the bucket, rather than climbing, when height or terrain makes climbing or rigging impractical or more dangerous.

Reach & Access

Remove dead limbs high in the canopy, trim near powerlines, or remove entire trees without needing to climb or rig from the ground, especially in awkward locations.

Safety & Speed

With these tools, there are fewer rope drops, less risk of falling debris damaging property, and faster execution.

Minimal Ground Impact

Off-road capability of the GrappleSaw means less need for large equipment that could do more damage.

How We Use Them in Our Projects

1

Utility / Line Clearance

When trees are dangerously close or growing into transmission or distribution lines, we use the bucket truck or GrappleSaw to safely trim or remove at height.

2

Remote / Difficult‐Access Jobs

On large rural properties, wooded areas, or hilly terrain, GrappleSaw allows us to reach where lesser equipment can’t.

3

Emergency Storm Response

After storms, fallen trees or broken limbs high up pose hazards. These machines help us respond quickly to clear the danger.
